CMHA Ottawa and Nelligan Obrien Payne LLP Employment Law Group are teaming up to present this multi-disciplinary seminar. Many people with mental illness can and want to work but are unable to enter or stay in the workforce. Their valuable skills and experience are lost to employers. This seminar provides employers and health care practitioners with an understanding of how to support employees with mental illness; legal issues in supporting and accommodating employees with mental illness; and career management for employees with mental illness. This seminar has been pre-approved for 2 hours of HRPA CPD. (Presentation in English).
Admission is free but space is limited and pre-registration is required. Please send your name, organization, email address and phone number to [email protected] or call Lindsay Sherman at 613-231-8205.
