Alla Moda Hair and Personal Care will be holding a grand re-opening on Nov. 8 and proprietor Lilianne Baidoun has generously decided to use that occasion to contribute to mental health in our community. Baidoun will be donating half of Alla Moda’s service fees as well as proceeds from a raffle to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ottawa Branch, (CMHA) in the area of suicide prevention.
“We’re delighted to partner with Lilianne Baidoun and Alla Moda on this fundraising event,” said Renee Ouimet of CMHA’s Education and Capacity Building division.
“It’s more than just a fundraiser, it has an educational component too, and demonstrates what one individual’s initiative and dedication can do to promote the cause of mental health in our community.”
Alla Moda is located at 276 Bank Street, Ottawa. The event will take place from 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. For more information please call 613-234-9215 or visit the “Alla Moda Grand Opening Benefiting the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ottawa Branch” Facebook page here.
