On June 17, 2022, CMHA Ottawa hosted a virtual event titled Bright Ideas 2022: A round-up of the research and evaluation activities at CMHA Ottawa over the past year.
The webinar event, presented live to an audience on zoom, featured summaries from students from the University of Ottawa’s Centre for Research on Educational and Community Services (CRECS), Graduate Clinical Psychology Program, and Medical School, as well as Carleton University, University of Portsmouth, and Algonquin College’s Victimology Research Centre. The areas of study all took place in the CMHA Ottawa community-based care environment and included research and evaluation projects looking at Strengths Model Case Management (SMCM) and client outcomes, mental health and substance use outcomes of frequent emergency department users participating in community-based case management at CMHA Ottawa (Familiar Faces), tele-mental health services, Clinical Decision Support, Measurement-based Care (MBC), the CMHA Ottawa Condo Program, and much more.
A proceedings document has been compiled, summarizing the event’s presentations and opening and closing remarks. The visually pleasing and highly informative PDF document also includes each presenter’s PowerPoint slides, publications, and the event recording.
