CMHA celebrates National Volunteer Week 2023

CMHA Ottawa joins organizations across the country this week in celebrating National Volunteer Week.

Volunteer Canada’s theme for this year’s National Volunteer Week is Volunteering Weaves us Together. The intent behind this year’s theme is to celebrate individual and collective actions in creating strong, interconnected and vibrant communities.

Our volunteer Board of Directors are crucial to CMHA Ottawa’s ability to provide well-resourced and effective community-based mental health and addictions care. Additionally, we would like to thank the Peer Engagement Advisory Council (PEAC), a group of clients, family/loved ones and CMHA Ottawa staff who meet regularly to advise and support CMHA Ottawa to be the best that it can be.

From all of us at CMHA Ottawa on the occasion of National Volunteer Week, we would like to extend this note of thanks to our amazing Board of Directors and PEAC. We truly appreciate your dedication in helping us work towards positive mental health for all.
