Ottawa Public Health has added CMHA Ottawa to its list of Neighbourhood Vaccination Hubs to help meet the need for COVID-19 vaccination in the Vanier South community. The CMHA Ottawa building is located at 311 McArthur Avenue (view map). The clinic is on the first floor. The entrance to the clinic faces the parking lot. Please use the main entrance for wheelchair access.
Neighbourhood Vaccination Hubs are now open across the city to provide access to people born in 2009 or earlier who would like to receive their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. As well, a Public Health Nurse is available if you just want to come in and ask questions or get more information about the vaccine.
No appointment is needed; drop-ins are welcome. Please see the Neighbourhood Vaccination Hubs section of the Ottawa Public Health website for other locations, hours of operation, and everything else you’ll need to know.
If you are a client of CMHA Ottawa and you wish to visit the vaccination hub for your first or second dose, or to talk to a public health nurse, please drop in!
The clinic is open Tuesdays to Fridays from 1:00-7:00 p.m. (and closed between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.) and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (and closed between noon and 1:00 p.m.)
Each person who receives their COVID-19 vaccine brings us one step closer to community immunity. The millions of people in Canada who have received the vaccine are protecting themselves and those around them. Getting your safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada reduces your chances of becoming seriously ill, being hospitalized and dying from COVID-19. It’s normal to have questions or concerns about vaccines. You care about your health and as health professionals we are there to take care of our community.
